Professional standards

AICPA members, and others as required by state boards of accountancy, are required to comply with the following standards when engaged to perform these services as defined:

  • Statement on Standards for Valuation Services, Valuation of a Business, Business Ownership Interest, Security, or Intangible Asset (VS Section 100 or SSVS)

  • Statement on Standards for Consulting Services, Consulting Services: Definitions and Standards (CS Section 100 or SSCS)
